Can I donate to Gaza from Coinbase or another US exchange?
Yes, as long as the exchange or app lets you send crypto to an outside address on the network you pick on our donate page. Platforms differ: some offer USDT only on certain networks, and some apps send Bitcoin only. Check which networks your platform lists on its send or withdraw screen, choose the same one on our donate page, and send to the one-time address it gives you. We have no relationship with any exchange.
Can I donate from the United States in US dollars, by card or with Venmo or Zelle?
No. We accept crypto only, so cards, bank transfers, Venmo, Zelle and PayPal payments aren't available. If you want to give a set dollar amount, USDT is the simplest choice: it tracks the US dollar, so $100 in USDT is worth about $100 when it arrives.
Can I pay my Zakat in crypto from the US?
Yes. Give through the Zakat button on this page or on our Zakat page, then send your gift as usual. It is recorded as Zakat and kept for eligible recipients, the poor and needy among Palestinian families, and our running costs are not paid from it. We do not publish a charity registration in the United States, so please treat gifts made here as not tax-deductible there.
