How can I donate to Gaza from the UAE?
Licensed UAE organisations, such as the Emirates Red Crescent, collect donations in dirhams and send aid to Gaza. You can also give through us in crypto: pick BTC, ETH or USDT on our donate page, get a one-time address and send from your wallet or exchange. We are not registered in the UAE, so check the rules that apply to you first.
Can I donate from the UAE in dirhams or by card?
Not through us. We accept crypto only. Check your gift's value in AED in your wallet or exchange, then send the equivalent in BTC, ETH or USDT, matching the network shown on the donate page.
What is the Zakat nisab in the UAE in dirhams?
The UAE Fatwa Council sets the nisab for cash at the value of 85 grams of pure gold (97.15 grams of 21-karat), with no fixed dirham figure. At 533 dirhams a gram of 24-karat gold (Emarat Al Youm, 31 August 2026) it was about AED 45,305. Recalculate it with the gold price on your Zakat date. Many Hanafi scholars advise the lower silver nisab, so ask your own scholar.
How much is Zakat al-Fitr in the UAE in 2026?
The UAE Fatwa Council set it at AED 25 per person, or 2.5 kilograms of rice. Many scholars prefer it to be given where you live, so ask a scholar before sending it abroad, and send it early enough to arrive before the Eid prayer.
