Can I donate from Saudi Arabia in riyals or with mada?
No. We accept crypto only, with no cards, mada or bank transfer. Check your gift's value in SAR in your wallet or exchange, then send the equivalent. USDT is designed to track the US dollar and the riyal is pegged at 3.75 to the dollar, so SAR 1,000 is roughly 267 USDT before fees.
What is the Zakat nisab in Saudi riyals?
At the gold price of 8 October 2026, about SAR 503 per gram of 24-carat gold, the nisab was roughly SAR 42,750 on the 85-gram measure, or SAR 46,275 on the 92-gram measure given by Sheikh Ibn Baz. Gold moves every day, so recalculate on the day your Zakat year ends.
Can I send my Zakat to Gaza from Saudi Arabia?
Scholars hold that Zakat is first given where the wealth is, and many, including Sheikh Ibn Baz, allowed moving it for a sound reason such as severe poverty elsewhere. Ask your own scholar. If you give it through us, start from the Zakat page or tell us it is Zakat with your transaction ID, and it goes to Zakat-eligible relief for families in Gaza.
Does ZATCA collect my personal Zakat?
No. ZATCA collects Zakat from businesses and people carrying on commercial activity, and has said Zakat on personal accounts and balances is left to their owners. Your savings, gold and other personal wealth are yours to calculate and pay.
