Giving from Turkey

Donate to Palestine & Gaza from Turkey

In Türkiye, giving for Gaza is often done through Türk Kızılay, the Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı or AFAD's public campaigns, several of which take Zakat specifically for Palestine. We are a smaller, independent option for people who want to give in crypto. Each gift is sent to a one-time address that forwards automatically to our wallet, and the aid is delivered by local partner teams in Gaza.

Donating from Turkey: your questions answered

Can I donate from Turkey in lira?
Not directly. Crypto isn't sent in lira, so check your gift's value in TRY in your wallet or exchange, then send the equivalent in BTC, ETH or USDT. Rules on crypto differ from country to country, so please check what applies to you before sending.
Can I donate by IBAN, card or SMS from Turkey?
No. We accept crypto only, through a one-time address for each gift. If you would rather give in lira by IBAN, card or SMS, Turkish organisations such as Türk Kızılay, the Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı and AFAD run Gaza campaigns; our Turkish guide introduces them.
Can I give my Zakat to Gaza from Turkey?
Yes. Gifts made through a Zakat button are recorded as Zakat and kept for eligible recipients among families in Gaza. Our Turkish Zakat guide explains the nisab the Diyanet uses (80.18 grams of gold) and how to work it out in lira on the day you give.
Are you connected to Türk Kızılay, the Diyanet Vakfı or AFAD?
No. We are an independent organisation and are not affiliated with Türk Kızılay, the Türkiye Diyanet Vakfı, AFAD or any Turkish public body, association or foundation.
