Can I donate from South Africa in rand?
Crypto isn't sent in rand. Check your gift's value in ZAR in your wallet or exchange, then send the equivalent in BTC, ETH or USDT.
Will I receive a Section 18A certificate?
Not at present. We are not yet registered as a South African public benefit organisation, so donations made here are not currently deductible under Section 18A. We would rather say so plainly than imply a benefit that does not exist.
Can I give Zakat or Lillah to Palestine from South Africa?
Yes. Send your gift, then share the transaction ID with us and tell us whether it is Zakat or Lillah. Zakat is recorded as Zakat and kept for Zakat-eligible relief, and Lillah or Sadaqah can support any campaign — displaced families in Gaza are among the clearest eligible recipients.
