Support for Palestine in Indonesia is broad and public, running through mosques, campuses and workplaces, and Zakat and infaq are a settled part of the year, often paid through BAZNAS or a licensed lembaga amil zakat. The Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, was built by MER-C with donations from the Indonesian public. We are not BAZNAS or a licensed Lembaga Amil Zakat (LAZ), and we do not publish a charity registration in Indonesia, so gifts made here are not tax-deductible there and we cannot issue a zakat payment slip (bukti setor zakat) for tax purposes. Send us your transaction ID and we'll confirm the amount and date of your gift.

Can I donate from Indonesia with QRIS, DANA or a bank transfer?
No. We accept crypto only, so rupiah payments such as QRIS, bank transfer, cards and e-wallets like DANA, OVO or GoPay aren't available. You can buy USDT with rupiah on an exchange of your choice and send it to your one-time donation address. Rules on crypto differ from country to country, so please check what applies to you before sending.
Which coin and network should I use from Indonesia?
For small gifts, USDT on Tron (TRC-20) or Solana usually costs the least to send. Many Indonesian exchange users are used to BNB Smart Chain (BEP20), but we don't accept it: USDT sent on BEP20 to a donation address may be lost. Always pick the same network in your exchange that you chose on our donate page.
Can I pay my Zakat for Palestine from Indonesia?
Yes. Send your gift, then share the transaction ID with us and tell us it is Zakat. It is recorded as Zakat and kept for Zakat-eligible recipients among families in Gaza. The MUI's Fatwa No. 83 of 2023 says Zakat may be sent farther afield, such as to Palestine, in an emergency; ask your own ustaz about your situation. Are you an official Indonesian organisation?
No. We are an independent organisation, not BAZNAS or a licensed LAZ, and we are not affiliated with any Indonesian government body, organisation or scholar.
