We do not publish a charity registration in Malaysia or claim LHDN approval under section 44(6) of the Income Tax Act, so please treat gifts made here as not tax-deductible there. We are not an amil appointed by any state religious council either, so a gift to us does not count towards the zakat rebate. Malaysia has its own rules on digital assets, so please check what applies to you before sending. Send us your transaction ID and we'll confirm the amount and date of your gift.

Donating from Malaysia: your questions answered
Can I pay with FPX, DuitNow QR or online banking from Malaysia?
No. We accept crypto only, so FPX, DuitNow, cards and bank transfers aren't available. We never ask for a transfer to a bank account or a QR payment, so a request like that made in our name is not from us. You can send BTC, ETH or USDT from any wallet or exchange that supports the network shown on our donate page.
Can I give my Zakat to Palestine through you from Malaysia?
In Malaysia, Zakat is administered by each state's religious council through its zakat centre, and state laws have provisions on paying Zakat through an appointed amil. We are not an amil appointed by any state council, so a payment to us is not made through your state zakat centre and does not qualify for the zakat rebate on your income tax. Please ask your state zakat centre or a scholar you trust before giving Zakat to any organisation outside that system. Sadaqah can be given to us at any time.
Is my donation tax-deductible in Malaysia?
No. We do not claim LHDN approval, so gifts made here are not tax-deductible. If a deduction matters to you, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that donations to its Palestinian humanitarian trust account (AAKRP) qualify under section 44(6) of the Income Tax Act 1967. We are not connected to it.
Where can I buy crypto in Malaysia to donate?
The Securities Commission Malaysia publishes a list of registered digital asset exchanges. As at 20 July 2026 it named HATA Digital, Luno Malaysia, MX Global, SINEGY DAX and Kinetic DAX. We have no relationship with any of them. Check the current list on the SC's website, and check which coins and withdrawal networks your exchange supports before you pick one on our donate page.
Can I donate from Malaysia in ringgit?
Not directly. Crypto isn't sent in ringgit, so check what your gift is worth in MYR in your wallet or exchange, then send the equivalent in BTC, ETH or USDT. Exchanges charge their trading fees and spreads before you send, so compare the total, not just the price.
