Giving from Morocco

Donate to Palestine & Gaza from Morocco

Support for Palestine runs deep in Morocco, from Casablanca and Rabat to Fes and Marrakech, and the bond with Al-Quds is centuries old: the Moroccan Quarter beside Al-Aqsa stood until 1967, and the Moroccan Gate still bears its name. Zakat and Sadaqah are woven into family life, especially in Ramadan. Each gift is sent in crypto to a one-time address that forwards automatically to our wallet.

Donating from Morocco: your questions answered

Can I donate from Morocco in dirhams?
Not directly. Crypto isn't sent in dirhams, so check your gift's value in MAD in your wallet or exchange, then send the equivalent in BTC, ETH or USDT. Rules on crypto differ from country to country, so please check what applies to you before sending.
Can I give my Zakat to Palestine from Morocco?
Yes. Send your gift, then share the transaction ID with us and tell us it is Zakat, and it will go to Zakat-eligible relief for families in Gaza. Our Arabic and French Zakat guides explain the nisab in dirhams and the Maliki view on jewellery.
Are you connected to the Al-Quds Committee or Bayt Mal Al-Qods?
No. We are an independent organisation and are not affiliated with any Moroccan public body, the Al-Quds Committee or the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Asharif Agency.
