The situation
In every crisis, women carry an outsized share of the burden — feeding children, caring for the elderly, managing life in shelters — often while pregnant, nursing, or grieving.
Our women's programme provides safe maternal healthcare through supported clinics and midwives, distributes dignity and hygiene kits, and runs women's support circles where mothers find counselling, solidarity and practical help.
For widowed and female-headed households, small livelihood grants — a sewing machine, a market stall restock, baking equipment — restore income and independence in economies where jobs have vanished.
