Orphan & Child Sponsorship

The situation

Thousands of children in Gaza have lost one or both parents. Behind each number is a child who still needs breakfast, shoes, schoolbooks, a doctor when they are ill — and an adult who reliably shows up.

Our sponsorship programme connects each sponsorship gift to a comprehensive package of care delivered through local social workers: nutrition, clothing, education costs, healthcare and regular psychosocial support. Children remain with their extended families or guardians; sponsorship strengthens that family unit rather than replacing it.

We report on the sponsorship programme in our news and field reports, always protecting each child's privacy and dignity. Donations are one-off crypto gifts, so many sponsors cover several months or a year at once.

Sponsorship is the quiet, unglamorous kind of aid that changes everything: not one dramatic rescue, but a childhood steadily rebuilt.
