Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Many websites use dozens of them to track visitors across the internet — we keep ours to a minimum: Fight for Palestine uses the cookies needed to make the site work, plus Google Analytics to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.

Cookies we set

• Theme preference. Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode so the site looks the way you left it on your next visit. Contains no personal data.
• Admin session.A secure session cookie used only to keep authorised administrators signed in to the site's management area. If you are a regular visitor or donor, this cookie is never set for you.

Cookies set by Stripe at checkout

When you make a donation, checkout is handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe sets its own cookies during checkout for essential purposes: keeping your payment session secure, preventing fraud, and remembering details you have chosen to save with Stripe (such as Link). These cookies are governed by Stripe's own cookie and privacy policies and are strictly tied to processing your payment safely.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how visitors find and use the site — for example, which campaigns and pages are most read — so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies (such as _ga and _ga_<id>) that store a randomly generated identifier. We enable IP anonymisation, and we do not use Analytics data for advertising. This information is processed by Google on our behalf; see Google's Privacy Policy.

What we do not use

• No advertising or retargeting cookies.
• No cross-site advertising tracking or social media ad pixels.
• No selling of your data to third parties.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK and prefer not to be measured, you can decline analytics cookies through your browser settings or a browser privacy extension, and the site will continue to work normally. You can opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect your experience: your theme preference will not be remembered, and Stripe's checkout requires its security cookies to process donations.
